David Mumme
David started his career in photography after graduating from the Photographic Technology Program at Willmar Area Vocational Technical Institute. He was then hired by a local studio as head school photographer and also did business as Weddings by David. He has photographed over 1500 weddings in his career.
David opened his own studio, Photography by David, in 1991. Though classically trained, he now combines both photojournalistic and traditional styles in his photography. High school senior portraits have always been a specialty and continue to offer opportunities to use new and innovative photographic styles. Being a “full service” studio, all types of photography are done including:
- family portraits
- child photography
- school portraits and
- sports photography
both in the studio or on location.
David is a lifetime member of the Minnesota Professional Photographers Association.
Cindy, David’s wife, is his partner in business and in life. Cindy specializes in sales and also is the studio’s custom framer. Her artistic eye will work with your ideas to design a custom frame package to enhance our photographs or your own pictures or art prints. She also has put together some really great shadow boxes showing off sports memorabilia or collections of other objects to display. We have always specialized in customer service and hope our experience will make your experience a pleasant one.
